Statement of Faith

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the Inspired Word of God, in that it is inerrant and infallible, and is sufficient in all matters, for Life, Faith and Conduct.

The Trinity

We believe in the Triune Godhead, of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, who are co-eternal and co-equal, one in essence, being God of Very God, equal in essence yet distinct in function. The Triune Godhead is unity and distinction, sovereign in creation and redemption.

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is truly and fully divine, and that Jesus Christ is truly and fully human. The Divine and Human natures of The Lord Jesus Christ are truly and fully united in one person. Through His atoning Sacrifice at Calvary, he became the propitiation for our sins, and our penal substitute.

We believe in His Bodily Resurrection and His Ascension to the right hand of The Father in heaven. In His High Priestley office in intercession, and in His personal pre-millennial second coming.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is one person within the being of God, and that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are co-existent, co-equal and co-eternal sharing the divine essence.

We believe that The Holy Spirit’s work is to convict the world of sin, and of righteousness and of judgement to come, to empower believers for works of service and ministry, as He distributes spiritual gifts to the church. He illuminates the Word of God. indwells believers He sanctifies believers, and seeks to Glorify Christ.

Mankind

We believe in the fall of man from holiness, that came in the original transgression of Adam and Eve, bring depravity to man’s fallen human nature, thus making mankind subject to the wrath of God

Salvation

We believe that salvation is through faith, based on Christ’s redemptive work on the Cross for all men turning from sin by repentance and turning to Christ in faith.

We believe that salvation is available to all, which includes justification, sanctification and glorification. Being justified by faith alone will be evidenced by holy living.

Ephesians 2 v 4-10

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the boundless riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

The Second Coming

We believe in the personal and bodily pre-millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ,

We believe that all true believers will be translated to meet the Lord in the air, and so forever be with the Lord, and that God’s purposes for Israel will be fulfilled.

In the light of this truth there is a great incentive to prayer, holy living and evangelism.

The Churches Commission

We believe the individual and collective primary function of the church is to witness and make disciples of all men, and thus bring them into the kingdom, the bride of Christ.

Matthew 28 v 19-20

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
